Terms and conditions of rent

To rent a car with Rentmotors, the driver must provide:

✓ Valid driving license
✓ Valid passport
✓ Credit or debit card for rental payment and credit card to make a deposit (VISA/MasterCard/AMEX)
Debit cards for deposit could be accepted in case of purchasing a SuperCover (SCDW) option.

Renter age - from 25 to 65 years old
If drivers age between 18 to 24 years or between 66 to 75 years, additional fee for Young or Senior Driver will be applied
Minimum driving experience - 1 year

We accept national driving licenses from all countries as long as they are written in the Roman alphabet and issued country is a part of the Vienna road traffic convention. For licenses issued in non-Roman alphabets, a certified translation is required or International Driving Licence with your national driving license.

We accept the following methods of payment:

• credit or debit cards, VISA / MasterCard / AMEX
• cash

For the deposit, we accept credit cards in the main driver’s name.

The deposit is taken as a pre-authorization at the start of the rental. Holding period for deposit - 2 months.

If the customer purchases SuperCover or SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver) insurance, depost could blocked on debit card.

The payment card must be issued on the name of the renter, and the renter’s name must be clearly printed on the card along with the validity dates and the card number.

The card must remain valid and active throughout the entire rental period.

Basic rates include the option of limitation the renter's maximum liability amount (CDW and TP), which is set for each vehicle category and is payable by the Renter in the event of damage to or theft of the car. The exact liability amount is equal to deposit amount, specified at the moment of car selection during reservation and in the rental agreement. 

The option to limit the maximum liability amount in case of damage or theft is valid only upon provision of documents (certificates) from the Traffic Police, confirming the occurrence of the insured event/incident/theft. In case of car theft, driver have to return car keys / car documents as well, please, don`t leave them in the car.

If certificates regarding damage, accident or theft are not provided, the renter's liability equals the cost of the actual damage inflicted (the full cost of repair or the vehicle's value in case of theft). 

To reduce the amount of liability for vehicle damage, we recommend to add additional coverage options to reduce the renter's liability.

SuperCover or Super Collision Damage Waiver - an additional service to reduce the liability amount to zero, which is charged to the Renter in the event of car damage, vehicle damage, or theft. The provision of certificates from the Traffic Police is mandatory term to apply coverages

Glass and Tire Insurance (GT) - an additional service to reduce the liability amount to zero, which is charged to the Renter in the event of damage to the vehicle's glass elements and wheels

Mileage:
Car rentals in Rentmotors Montenegro inculde unlimited mileage, unless the other conditions had been approved before and stated in rental contract

Fuel policy:
Our fuel policy is same to same: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as it had at the start of the rental.If returned with less fuel, the missing amount will be charged.

Car wash:
The car wash is included in the rental price. We provide clean vehicles at colletion, and customers may return it dirty without any standard cleaning fee. However, if the car is returned extremely dirty (e.g., interior spills, pet hair, strong odors, or stains) and requires special deep cleaning, an additional cleaning fee may be applied.

A one way rental is a rental which starts at one location and terminates at another. Availability is a subject of confirmation by Rentmotors. A fee may apply for this service. Please, contact our reservation center for details.

• It is prohibited to use the vehicle off public roads, on rough terrain, for crossing water obstacles, or in the forest
• The use of the vehicle in the entrepreneurial activities of the renter or third parties, including as a taxi, is not permitted
• Subleasing and any other transfer of the vehicle by the Renter to third parties is prohibited
• It is prohibited to dismantle or repair the vehicle, as well as to interfere with the vehicle's design or install additional equipment
• Driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or toxic substances is prohibited

An Airport Fee may apply to the rental when picking up the car at the airport.
