Car rental in Almaty
To rent a car with Rentmotors, the driver must provide:
✓ Valid driving license
✓ Valid passport
Renter age - from 25 to 65 years old
Minimum driving experience - 2 year
We accept national driving licenses from all countries as long as they are written in the Roman alphabet and issued country is a part of the Vienna road traffic convention. For licenses issued in non-Roman alphabets, a certified translation is required or International Driving Licence with your national driving license.
We accept the following payment methods at Rentmotors Kazakhstan:
• Credit or debit cards issued by international payment systems VISA / MasterCard
The exact deposit amount is available when selecting a vehicle during the booking process.
The main deposit amount is refunded on the day the vehicle is returned.
A 60 USD hold is placed on the card to cover possible traffic fines or toll road charges and is released within 3 weeks.
The payment card must be issued in the renter’s name, and the renter’s name must be printed on the card along with the card number and expiration dates.
The card must remain valid and active throughout the entire rental period.
Basic rates include an option limiting the renter’s maximum liability to 600 USD, payable by the renter in the event of vehicle damage or theft.
The liability limitation option in case of damage or theft is valid only if the renter provides documents (reports) from the traffic police confirming the occurrence of the insured event/accident/theft, as well as returns the vehicle keys/documents in the event of theft.
If no police reports regarding damage, an accident, or theft are provided, the renter’s liability shall equal the actual amount of damage incurred (the full repair cost or the full value of the vehicle in case of theft).
To reduce the amount of liability in the event of vehicle damage, we recommend purchasing additional liability reduction (or zero liability) option - Super Comprehensive Insurance.
Super Comprehensive Insurance - is an additional service that reduces the renter’s liability amount to zero in the event of vehicle damage, damage to the vehicle, damage to windows or mirrors, or theft.
Providing traffic police reports regarding the accident is a mandatory requirement.
Included Mileage:
Unlimited mileage applies to Rentmotors vehicle rentals in Kazakhstan.
Vehicle Refueling:
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pickup.
If the vehicle is returned with an incomplete tank, the customer will be charged for the missing fuel at a rate of 380 KZT (Kazakhstani tenge), or approximately 1 USD, per liter.
Car Wash:
We always provide clean and roadworthy vehicles.Vehicles must be returned clean.
Otherwise, a car wash fee of 10 USD will apply.
Late Return / Grace period:
The free grace period for returning the vehicle is 1 hour.
Driving Rentmotors vehicles outside the Republic of Kazakhstan is prohibited.
• It is prohibited to use the vehicle off public roads, on rough terrain, for crossing water obstacles, or in the forest
• The use of the vehicle in the entrepreneurial activities of the renter or third parties, including as a taxi, is not permitted
• Subleasing and any other transfer of the vehicle by the Renter to third parties is prohibited
• It is prohibited to dismantle or repair the vehicle, as well as to interfere with the vehicle's design or install additional equipment
• Driving the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or toxic substances is prohibited
When renting in Kazakhstan, the addition of up to 3 additional drivers is free of charge.
